Yesterday morning wen I was washing, Cora and Mildred Wray stopped their car out in front and told me that Mildred and Frank were married last Friday evening. They went to Wauchula, and didn't let Cora know anything about it. I'm glad they did, for Cora was so determined that Mildred shouldn't marry until she menstruates. But the poor young-one never will. She was 29 yesterday and Cora has been taking her to a Sebring M.D. to have her vulva stretched, s she is just like a little girl. But, even if she never can have sexual contact, she can love her man and he can love her, and I'm glad she had spunk enough to defy her mother. She is self-supporting, and works hard, with long hours and, I think, deserves to do as she pleases.
