Blessed are the pure in heart: for they shall see God Matth. 5-8

Introduction

Happy the pure - Ills making evident that a pure man is happier than a corrupt man - Hap - not ought dvitty?

But this is happiness derived from "Seeing God" - Happy the man that has money for he shall see Lond..? I. Where is this purity located

The emphasis is placed on the words "in he? It finds its root in the char - as distinct from the conduct -

= The Pharisees - except ? right - re - clean the outside v the cup & platter &c 2= Strike a death blow to formalism - dead profession good works - = Not what gveth unto a man defileth - but what comes out - meaning that the heart gives char - to the conduct and not the conduct that gives char. to the heart.

Pure religion &c - In Him was life &c

This emphasis timely - God looks upon the heart -
