Labor Day. It will be a pleasant change for me and though I feel when I stop to think about it as though I ought not to spend the money , I never can go any cheaper since the bus fare is the only outlay - the round trip is $3.50.

Malcolm has definitely decided to stick to his job and has just had a raise and an increase in house both, so he will be getting more money. He is planning to attend night school this fall and learn how to run a lathe.

Am sure you are watching the Spanish situation with interest. I heard Mr. Brawder, the Communist presidential candidate on the radio last night at 9 o clock the planks in his platform were all quite conventional, I thought and acceptable to most people except the one which suggested that the rich pay the bills. Naturally the ones on top would not care for that one.
