due to a cold and more particularly to a sharp pain in the right-hand shoulder blade which seems to come on quite consistently at two a.m. - after I have lain a certain number of hours, I suppose, as one night when I retired two hours later the pain came on at four. It was worse than usual last night and I got up and sat in the living room with a very hot water bottle on the sore place for about two hours, then got back to bed when it let up a bit. It ordinarily does not trouble me at all in the daytime have had it four or five nights but today it has, so I phoned Dr Boffenmeyer this morning
