The procession was seen wending its way through a grove of giant trees; the corpse born by the old warriors relatives, the Neighbors following. The body was turned? into the grave, when an old friend of the deceased made us acquainted with his history, his valour & retetnch? of life. a Prayer followed when all knelt. The sons were borne away from the grave of the poor Old Man, & the neighbors closed the ground over him. The seasons will change, years will roll on, but many will drop the tear upon the Emigrants grave, & venerate the flowers that grow upon the tomb in the wilderness.
