Monumental Fame of the Heros of the Alamo.
 It is composed of the stone from the blood-stained walls of the Alamo. The color is white. Its height from the base to the urn is ten feet six inches. The architecture is of the componte? order. four fluted columns arise surmounted by a capital on which the ?ortaph rests
 N?th capital to the base, two sides? present an e?entcheon, on which is enrolled the names of the heroes who fell at the Alamo,while the remaining two, a death's head & cross bones
 Each square of the capital is worked? in ? letters with the name of one of the four leaders of the ??ath conflict, viz: Travis, Bowie, Crockett & Bonham.  Oh the fo? verde of the cenotaph is the following inscription.
