 Having now remained four years without seeing of my Mother or friends, except my father who came down twice to see us, and was at times in my salatary moments had a great desire to visit them. And while pondering these things in my heart, I was unexpectedly gratified with a visit from parents. My Mother appeared to be highly pleased with of our situation & the improvements we had made. But to my sorrow & to the extreme mortification of our friends, she soon made known the object of her visit, which was,
