Dear Fred: Missed hearing from you but was plagued with medical problems in the family this year. Finally got back on MJ writing but here is the jolly golly season & John, Son #1, home last week for emergency appendectomy so the dust gathers again on typewriter.

I served as consulting historian to Terry Sandens who's working on Mother Jones docs-drams. He & his co-worker wife & their 2 girls & sitter were here for several days. Took Terry and Frieda up cabin & Point Creeks.
