There is some pretty country on the Navidad, sufficient timbered & well suited for corn, cotton & stock; in it & small tributaries, there is trout, perch, catfish, & game we saw deer, wild turkey, prairie hens 12th There are thunder storms daily, some tarn? but the nights are fine.
