Feb. 16, 1940. Darling [unclear], How is the fruit? I hope it is satisfactory so you can get more orderers. I had a card from [unclear] today saying he intended to get some orders for me in a week or ten days. I wrote him to send them at once if possible as the trees are beginning to show new growth, and the fruit should be off. I am using the fruit right along and find no difference in it. If you have to lower the price in order to get orders, do so. I leave it to you. Mrs Putney, my blind friend, is to come next Tuesday for several days for a change. Her old blind husband died the first of the month. His daughter came home from [unclear] and was her yesterday Dearie, didn't I send you the film of the enlarged pictuee of me that was snapped at [unclear] Hall? Please have a print made, as I want to send it to an old school friend.
