I get more lonesome for my wife than ever did before. I wish you would ? me. 

 I have had a mighty hard time of it but in the future wont work

so hard and will take a vacation once a year. The small pox is around here but I am not scared of it I was quite sick with Malaria but am over that now. I am going to get in portrait of every single tribe here and there are 21 and it is funny living among civilization as long as they have? they are as good subjects for 

me as the Siouxs as they have so many Indian clothes Indian trinkets etc.
