My Dear Sisters We were glad to hear once more from the City. I have not felt much like writing and Edward has a great deal to do. Mr Lewis being sick he has to help load lumber + do a great deal of his business, last week he was about sick. Mother keeps quite smart, the boys are well from their colds, Charlie has had the Croup they too have not felt much like writing. Carroll came home from school last Friday pleased to think he had spelt the school down + two boys from upstairs were down and spelled with them. I presume he will write to John Eddie about it; Maggie was here last week had a very pleasant visit with her.
