157 grace accompany.g & blessing their pious labors for their souls, here Lord are we & the children which thou hast graciously given us.

                P.M. Exodus 20.12 __
  3. We are to speak of the mutual duties that belong to men in their several relative ofoal? connections. In the text only the obligations of children to parents are mentioned, but that is but one particular of many duties included in that precept & that relative duty is mentioned because it is most important, as it prepares the subject for the faithful discharge of all other relative duties. For he who honors, loves & obeys his parents will do well in all conditions & relations in life, towards mankind. They who honor, love & obey their parents, will be good husbands & wives - good masters & servants - good teachers & good pupils - good rulers & good subjects.
