 It should be noticed in this connection, that the Governor of the Territory has recently visited the Agency, and in his report to the office of Councils held by him with Arapahoe and Shoshones, he alludes to the Trader as having enriched himself our of his trade at that point, and recommends that the request made by the Arapohoes for a Trader to be located with them be complied with. The Governor also expresses the opinion that the Agent is not exactly the man for that position - that he lacks efficiency &c.  You will make your examination of the affairs of that Agency, in view of all these facts, and report the result.  You will please bear in mind, that the copies of the communications herewith enclosed
