We find all very kind here and Anna is getting nicely rested. She and cousin M. went to the greenhouse just below here a short-time yesterday. She came back much refreshed and Cousin M. brought us? very sweet pretty flowers. I have not been out yet It was so rainy Sunday and wet yesterday also The snow seems dryer today and I know the walks will be such that I can call at cousin Lewis' and perhaps go down street - Fannie has to go so I should have company. The mail has just come without bringing anything from you - hope no news is good news this time. I know you must be very busy after losing so much time. After writing the above sentence it has come to my mind that there is a letter from you - It is addressed to Anna and Fannie has taken it upstairs to her as she is lying down after breakfast. So I have not read it yet. There was a letter forwarded from Edward.
