Camp 3rd Infy [?] Fort Sedgwick C.T. February 21st 1867 My Dear General, Our Eastern mail is a perfect failure of late. Have not yet received the orders for the Com'd & no letters or papers of recent date. I think yesterday one of the most disagreeable days & last night one of the coldest I ever saw. We had a furious snow storm all day, with high cold winds. My com'd suffered ?, but not seriously. Some few were slightly frost bitten. I have never seen worse weather for any com'd in tents. As I suppose the Regiment will be in the field during the coming Summer, I do not think it advisable
