My dear Fred, -- 

    Congratulations my dear boy! The papers have treated you very kindly & the show as a whole simply great.
    I just got in and am hustling around so hard I cannot find time to get over to see you but I do not want you to forget our luncheon date for tomorrow noon. I shall show up at the theatre about twelve and I hope that is satisfactory.
    It did me a great deal of good to see you and I cannot tell you how I appreciate your cheerful words to me and your aid & sympathy.
    Until tomorrow (Tuesday) at noon at the stage door - adios -
