I will not sell to booksellers. If there are any of your friends who Complain because they cannot obtain the book, they will be supplied from here upon application.

  You shall have that presentation copy as promised.  I have not forgotten it.  I intend to have

a copy bound for myself, and shall put one through with it for you. I intend to get them done in New York and when ready will send you as handsome "Copy as you could wish for.
