5 royalty & copyright on the book from this date and give me a chance to get out good & whole. If you will do this I will do what more can be done to sell the book & this little service, of 10 [?] per copy will help me out wonderfully. I wish you would take the matter into consideration and let me know soon. If you decline to do it I have no more to say. To show you how earnestly I have pushed the book & the amount I have spent upon it, I would mention one advertising contract alone of $3.800.00 in solid cash that I paid out, to say nothing of a dozen other contracts for large sums. I have sent about 15 or 20 copies to London, & several to Germany. One German Editor at Stuttgard requested a copy for special review in his paper - critical one I think - & of course I sent it at once. The Editors name was Dr. Ratzel. Please let me hear from you, and write specially about the matter of surrendering your claim for royalty in my favor, as that is an important item to me just now. With the compliments of the season

I am Yours Very truly A.D. Worthington
