Yours of the 15th is at hand. I am glad to know that the books went off so rapidly. I have mailed and the lot today as ordered and enclose bill. I trust they will reach you safely and promptly. Let the bill apply on a/c It was an oversight in [?that?] writing my name in the Halfturkey copy sent with the last lot. I did not think anything about it at the time. If you wish for a good copy to keep for yourself let me send one from my new Edition in about four weeks. The paper will be better, and a new ed'n of Plates will be ready by that time. The latter are printed but it will be three or four weeks before they are dry enough to use. They are very handsome - the best yet. So when this new Ed'n is ready I will send you a handsome copy & put my fist on it. I therefore change 7 on the one sent the other day at $3 - the regular price is #6.00 You can easily sell it with the others. I want to work off the present Ed'n before beginning on the one having better paper. I have made a tremendous effort on the book. The enclosed advertisement is now running in about 1700 newspapers, and I have sent out circulars by the cart load. I get a good many responses from such a deal of advertising
