I walked over to John J. Jones, Cobin, found Jennie quite poorly with a sore throat and they thought gathering in her head. It was very hard for her to hear and there was very severe pain in her head. She has not got over the effect of sleeping in a damp bed early in the winter. I had a nice visit there and Mrs. F gave me a quart can of new milk to carry home for Anna - She also promised us some fresh butter after she begins to churn - They have had four calves but had not churned. I told her of robe? the G girls gave her - and she said she would send hers by and by - Anna stayed home all alone yesterday a.m, all the rest went to church.
