Remsen Jan 11, 1883

Dear Sister, It does not much look like our going away just now. It has been very cold all the week and they did not publish meeting tonight on that account. Anna does not get over her cold very fast. She has not ventured to go to any of the meetings this week and I have been but once. We are quite comfortable here at home. Mr. & Mrs. P. are going to the village this a.m. to spend the day I think - he went to Glyn yesterday- Did I tell you Maggie talks of making Owen a visit and calling on you by the way. Have you seen Jennie Twombly lately - give my love to her when you do. Wonder what is to be done about about the class letter! I think I must join the Alumni Association - How is your health & business? Is Mrs.
