bottles of fine old whiskey & we were then driven to our car. Soon after 5 pm we were hitched on to the regular passr train - taken to Mohave station when we are side tracked to wait for the Eastern train tomorro. 

 Los Angeles very beautiful growing rapidly. Oranges Lemons limes grapes in endless variety. Visited a Banana plantation in leaving. Beautiful ornamental garden - finest I have seen - belongs to a man named Dillenbach
