Fort Sully D.T. Novr 13th 1883. Genl. Wm. T. Sherman, General, Soon after my return to my post I discovered that the order you gave me in St Louis (and which I wrote) would not carry transportation - in that I had neglected the clause, now made necessary by Sou (?) that the travel was necessary (unclear)- I immediately wrote to the Adjt. Genl. asking him to get a corrected order from you
