Gypsum Creek Novr 6. 79 I had previously made preparations for a trip to complete my road to Pond Creek - but the day was so dark and lowering that I concluded to put off my start until the weather looked more favorable - About 10 am it had so far improved that I decided to attempt it any how - & ordered my party to load the wagons - It was a slow job but we finally got off at 11.15 am
