Well, as rich an agricultural region as is described- ten to fifteen miles wide- thirty long- with several arms, might support a longer population of miners. The utter inexhaustibility of the gold mines, not a single man that I have talked with doubts for a moment. Agriculture will pay. Of course the railroad to the Pacific Ocean is to go through Denver and Grand City. Not up that high grade-O. no- but through the mountains- and the gold ore taken out of the tunnels
