I shall have to postpone my newspaper letter for a day or two. It now seems that I am going to have a good deal of time to write, but I cannot of course write the same thing to everybody about the country - and I shall be glad if you get the slips printed. I have not written to anybody yet except Dr. Harver & Doug? and shall not perhaps for some days, other than business letters. Such a day as this is no wonder the people boast of the climate. But the lack of trees makes the town look awful lonesome sometimes. Now haven't I written you lots since I came here? And don't I feel good over being so well? Give my kindest love to all and tell them to write often. There are somethings in this letter perhaps not worthwhile to read to all. The ink you use is a little too red, but looks very well. I haven't any of Havens to compare with it. Do you
