Nov. 13th, 1919 Endridge, Cragsmoor, New York. My Dear Mrs. [L.W.] Field, [Orange, Calif.] I have just run across a couple of letters of yours to me in 1909 in one of which you speak of your little grandson having broken his arm. I am so much interested to know if it came out all right as you were, at the time, quite worried about it. I have put your letter, in which you speak of having had us to breakfast the morning we started down the river, in my Colorado River diary.
