This letter & rumor unclear on my lack of mail. Set me up a little & I ordered Capt Russell & Co. to start tomorrow am to unravel the difficulties, bring in my mail party or at least see what the trouble is. He takes 60 men & 3 wagons 10 days rations & 10 unclear at 3 pounds for day for arrival 16 miners with ten wagons came in today - 26 miners said to have left disgusted. Has been a pleasant day.
