Camp Harney Wednesday June 30, 1875 End of the fiscal year. Uncle Sam short of cash. Only partial payment to be made for June - When I woke up it was raining heavily. Has rained at intervals all day & until after 2 o clk quite hard. At 3 went to the Cos & Mustered them without inspection. It was not raining, but looked very suspicious. Wrote a good deal today in my book & will be able to finish the buffalo
