Eve. to Lawn fete by 2nd Cong. C.E. Quartette sang. Sat 16 a,m. cultivate potatoes at hill lot till Geo. came along with his load of hay then help him put it into Will Gates' barn. Then home dig potatoes in garden. p.m. put up the 2 acres hay at wood lot in stack for Geo. On way home Geo. treated the crowd to ice cream. Eve. called on Will Bell. Sun 17 4 boys at S.S. Hults & I to Lake Ave 15 pres. big rain at 12 m. & drizzle C.E. Missionary mtg. very few. Harry Breman there YM Com. mtg. Mon. 18 a.m. rain early. river high. Ike "shooting rapids" with Reno Mussey. Eli & I work garden, weeding. p.m. to mill. got 4 bus. oats $1.40 (ours are all gone) and 200 lbs bran. see Dec. 20 and Apl 12. Collected $25 from Nichols for cow. Then home. work garden. Eli went to see Harry Bramen. candy. candy. Annie & France here. Eli picked the Actraean apples 1/2 bushel. Eve. called on Rollin Griswold.
