Milo, Oct. 26th 11863 Monday Evening Dearest I wrote to you last night from Bangor, a letter which would go today, but if I mail this tonight it will be two days later. Eliab & Maria not being at home, we started this Monday morning by Stage Coach at 6 oclock and came up here. Bitter Cold day froze so hard last night that the ice is not all melted in shady places. Every body complaining of the cold. But we arrived here in good condition this Afternoon. Charley seems well, and quite lively. All we seem to lack now is letters from Nettie, and to know how children & all are. Mother is quite well, got over her cold &c. The rest all well. Little Lucyh Eliab's Lucy is here, running with Charles' Anna, and really rosy cheeked Mother says for the first time. Sincerely, Isaac
