Children are all finely. Little Don John is in fine health feels better and sleeps better I think than he has since you went away. Little Anna of course frets occasionally in the very not weather, but I think John is getting acclimated to the extreme hot weather and it agrees with him better than with Fan Anna. The boys, as well as Percy have worked haying up to Uncle Charles the past week some. Haying is finished now. When are you coming home? Do not hurry yourself. We are all getting on first rate. And all probably prefer that you should stay where you are if cooler more comfortable and gaining in health & strength both of you - much as of course we should like to see you and have you at home. Charley says wont she come this week? We have done well constantly in your absence fared sumptuously every day, and I have not perceived in my self or the children any sort of lack or suffering for washing or mending. In fact I am afraid it is demonstrated that what ever we may have thought heretofore, even your precious self is not absolutely essential to the existence of the household. If you want more money I will send it any time. Next week we can have P.O. Money orders. You will want more money if you have chance to go shopping. Otherwise not perhaps.
