[upside down]Mr. Keyes got home last night.

My dearest Yours of the 18th mailed the nineteenth came to hand today noon. Very gladly recd of course. Five days I had known nothing about you except by imagination. That is except what I knew before. The weather here is exceeding fine. There will be no finer weather in Ohio in May , that is has been here ever since I have been here. Ground all nice and dry Gardens looking very finely indeed.
