1908 12/18 was called to visit two girls at the school. On this date Frances Parshall took his daughter Fannie to the Hospital at Walker 18 The Police brought in the deserters from the school known as the Brown Eagle girls.

19 The teacher in charge Miss A. Pendergast reported that as soon as the Brown Eagle girls got up they went down the fire escape steps and made a dash for their home and soon after two of the boys word scratched out deserted? the school horses and followed locating the girls in a hat stack up near the Cedar forest. One of them came in and reported and then unclear went out and brought them back to the school. The teacher reports them somewhat? worse for their exposure.
