dependance you say you dislike that word but could you avoid the feeling in some circumstances that might be nam'd?

In regard to the Ried Butter (which I took so much pains with it ought to have brought me 25 cents per bb. & would if it could have been sent to Boston when I first got it ready) if you have dispos'd of it I want to get 1/2 a doz. Good Silver Teaspoons with the money and the rest - unless L. wants to get some kind of Health restore with it you may take to pay you what Lucy owes you there were 55 pounds of the Butter 2 sheep that were Lucys are in my possession with Charles's flock I should like to have you take them likewise & whatever more there is I will pay you when I can perhaps with my wool next Summer - we have not Said or done any thing in regard to settlement of property since you were there but the idea seems to be that C carries it on and allows me one half of what he raises on my part - ought I to keep an account of what is rais'd or let it all go as it always and I be taken care of by and by like any of the rest of the children. Shall I never feel dependent if I should live to be old think ye. But why should I think anything about it they both seem willing to do everything for my comfort as much as much as I could wish them to
I feel very anxious that something should be done for Lucys health I think she might enjoy good health if proper means were taken for it but if she must be so much confin'd at home & will fear all the time she cannot have many years
we dont have any preaching this winter tis 4 or 5 months since have besure for it. I like some of Mr. Fitch's ideas very much indeed throwing back the shoulders and expanding the chest. I wish you and Eliab would "practice upon the precepts incalcated,, get you some shoulder braces it would benefit you both
