Dear very Dear Isaac I do feel so thankful that you are such a good boy about writing I have just read a letter which Eliab took from the Office last night dated 24th Sept.

   Am very glad to hear that the sick are recovering I have many fears that you have not seen the worst of it as to yourself. Do be careful of yourself. It would be wonderful if you do escape a fit of sickness after tending upon the sick so much - so much watching & anxiety - anxiety & excitement is perhaps what has kept you up till now. I am sure if you are not sick you must need a long time to recruit & get your usual health & strength. I should think that George would come & stay till
