Why should the child of God do anything to save the heathen; I find motives all of which are illustrated in the mission of Christ viz; ; Duty, Love, Gratitude, Need, Result. I think each one of these were motives in His life

1. Duty [Underline] - We do not often think of duty [underline] in relation to X _

   This involves - the object [underline]- to provide salvation
   for man - for all men.
   The medium [Underline] - the incarnation ; the extent [underline]
   of obligation - sacrifice.
