Did you send your money to buy a Masters degree? I have receiv 'd a remittance of 35 peaches from Bangor. Whigs & Freesoilers united in the election of County Officers in Piscataquis, & thus elected all their Candidates but one, the Democrats getting the Senate. The County Commissioner elect being a democratic Freesoiler, in this representative district they united in the Same way upon Wm. Owen of Milo, a Freesoil Democrat. Congressional district Ditto, electing Israel Washburn of Orono, a Whig Freesoiler & less Freesoil than Whig I suppose. The Traveller perhaps gives you an account of commencement at Boudoin.
