Mother M

Elyria

My dear Children I have been here more than 5 weeks & have not heard a word from any of you - But I will "come up with you,, I will keep writing to you till you'll feel yourselves sufficiently punish'd - I really think it is too bad. Your Brother George too is complaining of you Isaac he say, you never have written much to him. He was in here a few minutes this evening - took dinner here. Thanks giving & took tea here once since - I like him so does Alathe our tastes are not very similar in some things, (especially in the treatment of young Children, but we both like George at least I do & she says she does & I believe she means it - but she is very peculiar about talking at random - I don't know but she can speak the truth. I suppose Eliah & folks are with you now unless they are on the way home - we don't get much news from them there may be a letter in the Office tonight but we must wait till tomorrow for E carried away one P.O & Mrs Thurston another - so John has given up his to Chapman. Charles was here last week brought down things & carried home 2 barrels of flour & various other things family use. They were all well
