every thing that it is possible for a man to do to promote my happiness & dear mother I am very happy - I trust truly thankful for the comforts the undeserved blessings which surround me. I do wish you could look in upon me in 'our room' which is in a wing of the house: it opens from the middle room (the family dining & sitting room) It is a large room looking on the street some evergreen & cherry trees in front of the windows in the yard: on the opposites side of the room are two large closets - one appropriated to the girls wardrobe the other to us between them a door opens into a bathing room quite commodives, with bathing boat, pump of soft water stove & boiler to heat water with plenty of room, - In 'our room' we have a fire constantly - it contains besides a bed a beaureu sofa a handsome hearth stand all of mahogany - two rocking chairs - new a low securing chair cane seat like Lucy's - Servatory & bookstore & my bookshelves I mean to write Almeda very soon also Maria but A owes me a letter on all accounts I have sent her my card & she ought to make her call in the shape of a letter - besides she owes a letter. Do write soon all of you in haste.
Your affectionate daughter
