My Dear Son

If you get this in season i.e before your uncle Joseph comes from Greenfield I wish you would send the stockings done up in a paper and label'd and Jane Aeyer Mariah wants to read it "Brother" Joseph thinks he shall not have to go to Northfield again for about 4 weeks - when I get your shirts done I will send them by stage unless I have some other opportunity should like to whiten them a while if you can do without them. I wish you would write to me and tell me, now and then, how you get along and if you have any letters from home send them. I expect to go to Sister Conants tomorrow

I left the Bosom you handed me with Jane for you the shirt I have got here I will wash it & send it with the others I am afraid you are needing them now.

I shall go to some time next week to Mr. Williams if I can conveniently.
Mr. Parson will be coming every day this week
