He alighted for the last time. After lingering a few days, he expired. Major Currey caused two persons to be arrested on Suspicion. They were taken before the County Court of Tennessee. The Court discharged them for want of jurisdiction. Major Currey appealed to the Superior Court. They were taken before that Court. In Oct 1835 the case had been deferred. A new election of Judges was to take place, and it was supposed that the Judges did not like to give a decision, for fear of influencing their election; the Indian question being regarded, not as one of right, but of party. In the meantime, both the prisoners broke jail; but one of them, Foreman, was retaken a few days before the Court commenced it session
