Service. The Chaplains of the different Regiments each made a few remarks, some of them very interesting, and well suited to the occasion. In looking over your old letters I find some unanswered questions, one was if the Soldiers robed the sesech. No. Public houses and stores were ansediately broken open and everything taken, while private houses were not molested with but few exceptions. In regard to the pictures in the illustrated papers, of the scenes in the rifle pits, some of them are very good, while others eaquely as poor. The best I have seen, was
