[right-hand side - overtop ] Mother Apr 1845 I perceive that Ann had a fit of inspiration come over her while she was writing this letter, and as I am not at present in that favoured state (principally because I have not room to expand my powers) I will be excused this time. Aron Hill's wife has been very sick - given over by the Physicians, but is better now - they have hopes of her recovery - was taken with violent convulsion fits. My Hobby that Ann spoke of is a very pretty bright eyed girl 6 years old, whose parents would like to give her away. I don't know whether we shall keep her and name her Jane. ? or not, what say? In great haste. Lucy 10.00
