Chicago, Jan, 11th 1889 H.B. Stone Esq. Vic Pres, C.B.+2.R.R. City. Dear Sir, unclear G.D.C reports, Tuesday, Jan 8th 1889 Today in Galesburg, I left the hotel at 8.30 A.M. and went to the White Front Saloon in the vicinity of the hall, I saw a large number of strikers going to the Hall + among the number were unclear Martin and G. Clark. Gus Peterson and Peter Truson entered the saloon at 10.30 A.M. they spoke about a letter which ought to be here today. They claimed that they knew nothing at all about the agreement made by the committee, John Cain and B. McFadden and another engineer from unclear shortly after made their appearance.
