Riley, unclear Kelly and myself went to the Union Hotel Bar where I treated them to the drinks, Riley told me that the switchmen get paid to-morrow afternoon, We then went to the corner of Prairie + Main Sts. where we met a large crowd of strikers, they talked politics, Kelly, Riley Bros, T. Smithers, M. Morisey + myself went to Gardt's saloon where we had several drinks, I met Strauburg shortly after and we visited the White unclear + Morleys Saloons on Prairie St. At noon we went to the Clifton ouse and got dinner, we played cards at the hotel after dinner with J. Boyd + E. Rogers until 5.45 P.M. when we got supper.
