Chicago, Sept. 14th 1888 H.B. Stone Esq unclear Mgr. C.B.+2.R.R. City Dear Sir: Following your will please find reports of unclear Wednesday, Sept 12th 88 Today in Salesburg unclear left the Hotel at 9 A.M. and went to the Hall accompained by Engineer Chas. Strauburg. They met Paul Roberts and Engineer McDowell near the entrance of the Hall. Paul Roberts asked unclear if he had heard from his (Roberts') brother Edward yet and unclear told him he had not. McDowell told them that the boys were fixing up Foote's Hall on Prairie St. for their own use, they entered to vacate the Hall on Main St. as there is to much expence attached to that Hall. They then took a walk to Smith + Marble's saloon on Prairie St. where unclear treated them to the drinks, they then went back to the Hall where they met Herb Updike and Rod Newell, they all entered the Hall, and unclear went back to Smith +
