Chicago, Sept 10th 88 H.B. Stone Esq unclear Mgr. C.B.+2.R.R. City Dear Sir: Following you will please find reports of unclear D.C. for Sept. 6th + 7th 88 Thursday, Sept 6th 1888 Today in Yalesburg at 8.30 A.M. unclear went to the Hall in company with Ed. Roberts + Chas. Strauburg, and they met Hand Higter there, he told Roberts that he had better be careful as he (Higbu) had heard that Marshall Ennis was going to arrest him (Roberts) the first opportunity he gets. Roberts said he was going to leave town tomorrow, but would come back again next pay day, John Lakey shortly after made his appearance + told Roberts to be ready to go on the Santa Fe at ten o'clock tomorrow They then went to Lardts saloon where Roberts and unclear treated to the drinks. Higber + Lakey went back to the Hall, Roberts left unclear at 10 A.M. saying he was going to see his sister. unclear then went to the Clifton House, + Strauburg said he was going to the Hall. unclear met John Hinkson at the Hotel, he has been intoxicated every
