Struck tent at 8 A.M. Traveled over a good road to a small creek & spring in Hot Sp. V? passed 2 wells on the left & Alkili creek not much good water until you get in about 2 m. of Hot springs, good grass Sat 27 cloudy misty cool Wind S.W. struck tent at 8 A.M. Passed over good road to spring at the head of valley some grass all of the way crossed the dividing ridge & camped on the head waters of Humbolt good grass & water sage for fuel a large no of wagons in valley
